Pollution

The Pollution series was inspired by a series of unfortunate events where Davies found himself ill in hospital in Singapore whilst on holiday returning from a residency at the University of Ulster in Belfast. Whilst recovering he was struck by the order and cleanliness of his new found temporary home and perplexed by the inhabitants of the city, many of whom walked the streets wearing masks to protect themselves against pollution despite no obvious signs of smog.
